Georgia Fake Trump Elector Escorted Operatives Into Elections Office Prior to Voting Data Breach
According to surveillance video evidence obtained earlier this month, Cathy Latham, former chairwoman of the Coffee County, Georgia, GOP, escorted two operatives into the county’s election offices on the same day a voting system there was breached. Latham escorted members of the forensics firm SullivanStrickler who were hired by Trump-allied lawyer Sidney Powell.
Latham was part of a group of “fake electors” in Georgia, who was identified as a target of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ grand jury investigation into interference in the 2020 election by former President Donald Trump and others. Latham was found to have submitted false certifications declaring Trump the winner in Georgia, despite Biden’s victory.
Evidence Suggests that Breach Was Part of a Plot to Overturn the 2020 Election
In the surveillance video, two men, Scott Hall and Paul Maggio, were seen with Latham. They both have admitted to successfully gaining access to a voting machine in Coffee County under the direction of Sidney Powell.
Texts, emails, and witness testimony filed as part of a civil lawsuit into the security of Georgia’s voting systems prove that Latham directly communicated with the then-Coffee County elections supervisor to gain access to the county’ elections office.
The surveillance video, texts, emails, and other evidence suggest that both the Georgia fake elector plot and efforts to breach voting machines in the state were part of a larger plan to overturn the 2020 election.
Other Trump lawyers and allies who were part of fake electors plots in other states have also been found to be involved in attempts to access voting machines in counties and states across the country.
Who Else Was Involved?
More evidence from the Coffee County elections office shows that Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan was also involved in efforts to overturn the election results in Coffee County. The Florida-based company Cyber Ninjas was hired by Arizona Republicans in 2021 to conduct a partisan review of 2020 ballots in Maricopa County, finding that Biden actually won the county by a greater margin than the official tally.
Additional surveillance video shows that Logan and cybersecurity consultant Jeff Lenberg visited the Coffee County elections office multiple times in January 2021, about two weeks after the Latham-led breach.
Latham is currently the target of two criminal investigations looking into efforts to invalidate the 2020 election, one being conducted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and a second by the Justice Department.
