William Barr Says There Was No Fraud in 2020 Election
“We have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election"
“We have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election," William Barr said as he paused between bites of his salad.
On December 1st, 2020, William Barr acknowledged for the first time that the 2020 election was not only safe and secure, but he publicly acknowledged that there was no wide-scale fraud anywhere to be found. As he continued eating lunch, the few DOJ staff members and a member of the associated press couldn't believe what they were hearing.
Barr was one of Donald Trump's most loyal Cabinet secretaries, so his willingness to acknowledge the legitimacy of the 2020 election gravely destabilized President Trump's claims of fraud. He "had already concluded that it was highly unlikely" that there was evidence of enough election fraud that would tip the scales in Trump's favor.
Barr’s assertions echo America's long history of safe and secure elections.
